STARTING OF THE CONTRACT “FEASIBILITY AND CONCEPT DESIGN FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ARTISANAL FISHING LANDING POINTS ON THE PERIMETER OF THE ISLAND OF CAYENNE IN FRENCH GUYANA”

COFREPECHE, in consortium with CATRAM – INDDIGO SAS, have been awarded the call for tenders launched by the Center Littoral Agglomeration Community (CACL) for the recruitment of a Consultant for the feasibility and concept design for the establishment of artisanal fishing landing points on the perimeter of the island of Cayenne in French Guyana (Cayenne, Rémire-Montjoly, and Matoury – Port du Larivot). This study started on August 30, 2021, it is composed of a fixed phase that will last for one year and four optional phases to be carried out over a period of 4 months.

In order to meet the needs of professionals to have functional equipment and offer all the services in terms of landing and refueling for coastal fishing products, the objectives of the study are to provide the CACL artisanal fishing sites on the island of Cayenne, to study the feasibility of setting up three landing sites and to provide, if necessary, the construction programs for these facilities and the DCE consultations to launch the related supervision contracts.
