VALIDATION WORKSHOP FOR THE DRAFT SEYCHELLES FISHERIES POLICY

COFREPECHE organised a Validation Workshop for the Draft Seychelles Fisheries Policy at the International Conference Centre in Victoria, on March 4th – 5th, 2019.

The objectives of this workshop were to :

• Present a review of the Fisheries Sector Policy 2005 and;

• Validate and endorse the new draft Fisheries Sector Policy 2019 developed by COFREPECHE team of experts.

Various stakeholders and representatives from the industry and public institutions attended the workshop, ensuring a wide consultation process and participative approach for the development and adoption of the new Fisheries Policy.
